Hi Vlad,

When install the SimVim Plugin and load the Zibo 737-800, some guards/switches are UP or DOWN. If I load the Zibo without the SimVim Plugin this doesn't happen:

  • FLT CONTROL A and B guards are UP
  • SPOILER A and B guards are UP
  • BUS TRANSFER guard is UP
  • BAT is ON and guard is DOWN
  • EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHTS are ON and guard is DOWN

I will check which guards are down and correct this.
Maybe something was changed in the latest version of the b737Zibo.
I will download 3.34 and see.

SimVimCockpit should  open all virtual switch cover guards on startup or every configuration reload for any custom aircraft,  so they won't interfere with the functioning of real switches in your cockpit.

It turned out, that was is a bug with indexes of the guards array (for those original Laminar array dataref for 10 switches only).

Will be corrected right now, will be available in next plugin update.

Hi Vlad,

Thanks for the EMER EXIT LIGHTS and BAT fix. But, should the guard cover be CLOSED by default on the following switches, since these switches are in there correct default position when the guards are closed?

  • FLT CONTROL A and B
  • SPOILER A and B
  • ALTERNATE FLAPS
  • STANDBY POWER
  • DRIVE DISCONNECT 1 and 2
  • BUS TRANSFER

By doing this, manually closing these guard cover would not be necessary.

Thanks.

You should not to take in account the positions of the virtual covers.

SimVimCockpit  opens all virtual switch cover guards on start so they won't prevent you to operate the virtual switches wen you move the real  switches in your cockpit.

Read here about this problem (covered switches)

As you are building a real panels, all your covers should be real. And when you close your real cover, it turns the switch (real) in needed position.
