Hello,

Looking to build a flap switch using a potentiometer for the flap lever and a servo for the flap position indicator and I have a couple of questions.

1. What potentiometer is recommended for this purpose?

2. How do you set the potentiometer for the different flap degrees (10°, 20°, 30°, Full) using the configurator?

3. Same question as #2 but for the servo used for the flap position indicator.

Appreciate the help.

Steve,
1. Any pots from 1k to 50 k (optimal is 5-10).
2. Simvim automatically divides the range by equal intervals. The number of this intervals is taken from  the aircraft flight model that is currently loaded ( For C172 it is 4  steps).
3. It's easy. Start the servo calibration in the SimVim menu and calibrate your servo dial as you need. http://simvim.com/svc_gauges.html
