Hi,

I'm trying to display the flightlevel on my 16 char LCD-Display for my XPDR. Unforunately the indication is allways "FL---".

Any chance to solve it?

If you select the type 4 (TT31 transponder) it works as real TT31, showing "FL---"  in the On and SBY modes,  see the demo slideshow here: http://simvim.com/svc_custom_radio.html

When mode is in ALT or GND you will see the FL025  etc.

For types 1,3 the "FL" is not showing, only the digits are.

Hi Vlad,

sorry to say but I'm not able to follow. The display is not changing between "FL---" and "FL025" when switing thru the differnt modes.

Marc,

You should change the transponder mode by "hardware" switch (rotary), not on-screen.

Upd: the GND mode doesn't work in "type 4", we will correct it soon.
But, in ALT mode you should see "FL002"...

Vlad,

thank you. It's working fine so far.

But now I have the next problem. I'm using a 16 digit LCD-Display, which is actually a 2 line 8 digit display. My intention is to display the code in the first 4 positions of the second lind. Unfortunately the code is allways displayed in the last for digits. Is there any chance to change that?

The 2x8 display auto formatting  is not added yet, when I get it (soon) I can create the program mapping for it.
But you can experiment with position numbers, for example, try to enter line 0 position 9 insead of line 1 pos 0, etc...

Vlad,

thanks you again for your quick replies and your support.

Unfortunatelly this time your hint is not working. I tried several variables without the result I expect. I tried even negative numbers.

I think I'll wait until you implemented the 2x8 display.
