Guys,

First of all thank you for this amazing service!
I tried to calibrate my first gauge. I am about to create my first panel (which I designed).
The problem is that the gauge can't spin beyond 180°. The servo CAN do that but Simvim range for the gauge does not allow me to go up to 270° (as it is supposed to do).

How can I solve this problem?
Thank you in advance for your kind help.

Hi, the servos do not move more than 180 degrees of rotation.

you need more degrees of rotation

Must use stepper motor like x27168

I hope these images clear your doubt about it

Luca,

In addition to Milton's notes:
If you want  to use a servo you can add  step-up gear as described here:

Hi Vlad, this is new for me in SimVim, a good solution to the limit of rotation of servo motors, how much would be the maximum angle in degrees of rotation needle with the gearbox?

Milton Rodriguez.

** Adding external step-up gear (e.g., 1.5:1 or 2:1 ), Gear ratio can be from 1.5/1 to 2/1 to extend the servo rotation angle by 90-180°. Do not make the rotation angle of more than 360°. **

I just found out thanks Vlad

Milton,

Actually  this page (with step-up gear) was presented on our old website long ago, in relation to ArdSim 3  (even before ArdSimX), 5 years ago...    wink
