I have built a XPDR device with one 7-Segment display. When I add XPDR_Code everything works well. But when I add on the same 7-Segement (in the right position) a Mode indicator (for example XPDR_ON....), X-Plane 11 crashes. What can I do?

I can't see what exactly are you doing.

To set transponder you should follow the XPDR map, selecting correct device type and correct inputs.
Always use the latest plugin version of course.

I have already done it. I want to display something like this: "Stb 7000" (like this photo: https://photos.app.goo.gl/eF1jR3KxmGKR8v34A).

Are you using the SimVIm currently? If so, wait until next update.
Or, probably you use deprecated functions in the data.cfg file related to some "modes".?

1).  As for XPDR mode that you need to display (current mode in same display position),
you should use the "XPDR_Msg" only parameter, no more:

N##   XPDR_Msg

Find it in the "generic" XPDR map (first picture in the map:

OR (best way):

1). You can simply select the transponder type KT-73 in the image map configurator and assign display to 8-digit indicator (XPDR_Code).

In that case you will get fully working (as real) transponder KT-73 with all its work logic accordingly with its specification.

Here you can see how it should work (select interactive map in transponder): https://simvim.com/svc_custom_radio.html

I have followed your first advice. It works fine but when I push "Hardware Reconnect" X-Plane crashes again. I will wait the next update.

I still don't understand what is the plane you are building and are you using the SimVimPanel or not?
I'm building a Cessna 172 and I'm not using SimVim Panel.

The next C172 panel will have the "wide" version with radio stack, for 32" LCD monitor

including fully programmed KAP-140 Autopilot and any XPDR models from our list  (that can be also assigned to LCD/7-segment):
