I have built the 172 warnings panel, have all led's lit as  they should be, and when they should be, but can not find how to program the 10 times blinking feature when testing it (as in a preflight test) and to have it blink just 10 times and stay on when each system fails, volts, oil pres, etc?

Thanks in advance for any help

Harold,
All things you have described are defined by flight model of your aircraft, programmed in it.
Do the annunciators behave like this in your virtual plane (without using SimVim)?

The aircraft is the default Cessna 172,  the annunciator lights only come on, they do not model the blinking of the failed systems, as in the real life aircraft.

I was hoping that this feature could be added to Sim Vim, that we could pick how many times we needed led's to blink before staying on.

As many aircraft are like this with warnings and  system failures lights.

Possibly a lua script could do this?

Harold,

We will include  this feature in next version (today or tomorrow).

For any assigned LED annunciator, LCD text annunciator you will be able to set number of blinks before steady On state.

This also will be available not only for On/Of type of annunciators, but for "range warning" lights.

It's done!
Now, in v 0.9.38  you can set "blinking series" for any LED.

Also, as option, you can set this for the LED driver, in this case all LEDs connected to it will blink before steady state (this option is not added in the configurator ).
