Add the SimVimX plugin to your X-Plane as any other plugin. Extract the SimVimX zip file as-is to X-Plane's "Resources/plugins" folder. The new menu item “SimVimX” will appear in X-Plane's Plugins menu.
The first SimVimX menu item is "Configuration". It opens the main all-in-one configuration window where you can design all hardware connections, assign all inputs and outputs with a wide range of options for any currently loaded aircraft, configure startup actions, upload the SimVimX firmware to the master and slave boards.
The second menu item is "Panel Constructor" that opens the panel designer window for the SimVimPanel program.
If you have a spare Arduino Mega, you can spend just 5 minutes to test how the plugin works with the hardware controller by uploading the SimVimX Firmware to it. For this, open the plugin's configuration window and follow the steps described here.
Please always use the latest versions to avoid problems with your working configuration.

The main data files (database.dat and resources.dat) are always included in the plugin archive, but note that they can be updated more frequently, even if the main SimVimX plugin has not been updated to a new version. Always replace older data files in the plugin folder with the latest ones.
