Firmware for SimVimX Slave boards

The Firmware for SimVimX slave boards needs to be loaded only once from the SimVimX plugin configuration window. Only if a new updated firmware is released (it’s very rare), you will need to upload it again.


Click one of the SLAVE BOARD button under the “SLAVE BOARDS” section in the Configuration window
1. Make sure the slave Uno/Nano board is not connected to USB, click the lower button, wait the step 2

This only applies if you have just connected a new Mega2560 board that does not have the previous firmware loaded on it.

2. Connect your board to USB port and click the next button. If the plugin finds the board the next “UPLOAD” step will appear.
3. Select the board type.
Click the [UPLOAD] button.
Upload process lasts about 3 seconds.
If after the STEP 2 the plugin can not
detect the board, you can try again

NOTE: If the plugin can not detect the board after STEP 2, you’ll see the “No New Board Detected” message and [Start Over] button:
